I have been asked if anyone had staff doing anything for them for work comp light duty.
Please share what you do, thanks!

We've had them fill in at our welcome desk when a volunteer was absent. HR understands that it's not a consistent need.

We haven't had any for a few years but we have used them in our Gift Shop when we had them and they would also help in the volunteer office, and do the patient mail if the volunteer wasn't here. I hope that helps. Nancy

Depending on ther person's role, if they are a CNA, MA or Nurse you could use them to help train new volunteers working on a nursing unit. I have been asking for a light duty clinical team member and can't get one, but wish I could!

I have also used a light duty person to do filing and data entry in the volunteer office.
