Hello all, 

There is a real need in our area to provide clinical hours to students who are looking to pursue various medical degrees. Currently, we do not have enough shadowing opportunities or non-licensed/certified positions to meet the growing demands of our students. 

I have been asked to explore whether we might be able to create volunteer positions to meet these needs that do not require licensure or certification. 

Has anyone created a volunteer position before specifically for students looking to obtain observation or clinical hours? Any potential pitfalls to be aware of?
