Games for Centerpiece giveaway, or game during appreciation dinner

I’m brainstorming ideas for a new centerpiece giveaway game for our upcoming volunteer appreciation dinner. If we don’t go that route, I’m also open to a fun, interactive game for a large group and I can simply have tables take the centerpieces home.

In the past, we’ve done the left/right story game, “whose birthday is closest” (and similar prompts), pass a $1 until the music stops, trivia, and bingo.

I’ve considered a “Name That Tune” style game, but I’m a little hesitant about the technical side and how smoothly it would run.

Has anyone done a game that worked really well with a large group and would be willing to share ideas?

Number the chairs at each table, put the numbers underneath the chairs.  Have numbers in a bowl say from 1-8 or however many chairs are at each table.  Draw that number and everyone at a table with that number gets the centerpiece. They will stand up and see what their chair number is.

OR before everyone gets there, put a number under the centerpiece and then at the end of the program, have someone move the centerpiece to see who at the table gets it.
