our volunteers pick up at the patient room for wheelchair transport at discharge.  they meet up with the patient's driver at a designated exit.  i have a dispatcher and three runners per shift.  8:30a - 12:30p and 12:30 - 4:15 pm.  this group of volunteers also assist with escorting guests (by wheelchair) to patient rooms or other area of facility as needed.
