I'm preparing to start a revamped Cheer Cart position, and wanted to see if anyone had any documentation they would be willing to share. I will have volunteers taking carts with items to 9 units - split into 3 "routes" - I want to have a way for them to clearly document when they went where, so we don't overlap each other.

We do this with one specific unit at our hospital. We have a notebook in the cart where volunteers make notes about where they visited, so the next person that comes can look at that and know where to visit next. We always tell them to avoid leaving PHI in the book for HIPAA, of course!
