Jan, We have not officially participated in any planned employee recruitment / retention efforts. However, we have documented that about 50% of our High School Service Interns (have about 45 a year), become employees. I also have "lost" a nice number of adult volunteers to employment. We do share that number and also "market" volunteers to departments as a great way to vet future associates.
